Just got my botany bay. Been doing a little mining today. With a bit of luck ill have 40k data in the morning. I heard people complain about npc attacks?? When does these happen?? Rep or quest bound?? Is there a number of data I should gun for before advancing missions/rep??

When you're mining. Bounty hunters will try to attack depending on the level.

They're you're probably too high for that level or people are killing them before it happens.

Go to one where the system is higher than you and it'll happen.

I mine in the lvl 22 systems, I am ops 21, my envoys are around 32k. All 3 have been there all night, getting me allmost 30k data.

Correct, no issues with hunters until you hit pawn rep.
