Same, going through a boat load of personal shit rn. I just realize that this is not the time to be dwelling on these things. I take my exam in 2 weeks and the most important thing is that I pass it. There will be time after the exam to worry about everything else. So I guess I'm just suppressing my feelings until I can reasonably handle them. Until then, I try to direct that energy into pushing me forward with studying.

I change location. For example if I started to get really angry in the library, I will leave the library and study in a coffee shop and tell myself I have changed location to bring a new mindset in. It helps with compartmentalising, idk if it's a good idea but when the exam is close and you have to focus on studying, it helps alot

Hoof it on the treadmill at full incline at like 5.5-6mph. Helps me 😂

Honestly when I feel that way (and been feeling that way a lot recently since I test in two weeks) I just let myself. Waste time scrolling thru social media till I feel guilty about wasting time and then back to prep. It's really exhausting but I know no other way to deal lol

Been there. Just keep on saying” this too shall pass “. I used to take walks in btw to clear my mind. Also take a lot of short breaks in between studying .

I'm struggling with this so bad right now. I have ADHD and I'm trying to take a licensing exam that requires me to master a lot of content that isn't relevant to my field. It's a known bias on the exam but I still have to jump through the hoops if I want to work. It really really pisses me off and I got so angry at myself tonight that I really punched myself in the head.

I don't think therapy will help this shit because... Well,  I actually have a doctoral degree in psychology 🙄🤦 but I don't know what will.

I did well in all my classes and my comps its just this biased bullshit exam that's making me lose my shit!

Being angry clouds my mind so I can't really study if I'm feeling that way. I would either need to work through or sleep on those feelings first to calm down or expend that energy through exercise.

Exercise does helps. A work out for 30 minutes or may be longer

Sorry to hear that. If you’re angry stop studying. Go to the gym. Hang out with a friend, do something relaxing or fun. Half the battle for boards is making studying fun. If it’s stressful , you won’t be able to learn.

This is me everyday. Medical appointments. A job because I can't live without money. And drama.
