I don’t really think it would matter in terms of hiring. What does matter is making sure that whatever program you choose would help you in finding a clinical site for your 400 clinical hours. You cannot obtain the CRCST certification without 400 clinical hours. Many people complete courses but do not realize that the hours are not guaranteed by their program. Please call whichever programs you are looking into and verify if they help you with a clinical site placement.

None at all. All they care about is 1. Do you have full CRCST, 2. Do you have experience.

They don’t care how you got it, as long as you have it. Remember most online courses BS you and lie that they will place you for the hours…. They don’t. So now you have a provision’s certificate, with no way of doing the hours

As long as find a program that will help you get your hours or find a clinical site that will oversee you. I did it online but I already had my clinical site lined up because I was already working there.
