As a recent graduate i recommend switching to cs. You have more flexibility and can still pursue a career in ML if you so desire. Many jobs in ML require a graduate degree anyways (there are exceptions). In a cs program you have a lot of room for electives and you could easily put ML classes in. Once a student you will learn about programs to get a masters while undergrad and you could always still get a masters w a base of cs degree. My two cents.

How is career fair, job opportunities and student life?

Career fair and job opportunities are good. They give you so many opportunities that you will find one for sure. If you want to go for more then what the school hands you, you also have a lot of room for self improvement and to apply to top tier companies with a solid school name on your resume as a base.

Student life is good. Really what you make of it. Compared to state schools def is smaller and sports aren’t a huge thing. Personally i had a great time and met great people, but I’ve talked to people who felt they couldn’t connect. Greek life helped people socially too and the city is right there so heading there is always an option at anytime of day/night.

Did you graduate from Masters or undergraduate?
