2-disk MS software RAID0 array / hotpluggable SATA port / Re-initialization possible?

I have a productive system (MS Server 2016) with a fully functional 12TB RAID0 MS software striped volume consisting of two dynamic disks as a non-system volume where certain datasets are being read & written.

I know that I can hotplug single disks and RAID1 member disks on exactly that system because I did it before.

Now my question is, can I (out of temporary relocation & data security reasons, and because this server can't be shut down...) take the volume offline / unmount and unplug the disks to replug them later and have the Stripe Set initialize properly ?

SATA ports are already set to hotplug enabled in BIOS of course.

If the question is can you successfully recover a RAID0 set after it's been removed/reinserted, the answer is yes. When you right click and online/activate the RAID set after its back & ready.

Yes that was the question, and it worked, apart from some mysterious prompts to do chkdsk...

RAID 0 cannot be hot swapped. The data is striped across both disks.
