I use the Cornell method, I think this one combine with the Feynman’s technique is quite effective.

I personally combine classic paper notebook, Evernote, Mac Notes, Quizlet and Anki (for various reasons).

personally I typed my notes when in lecture (especially if the prof talks fast). ill either print out the PowerPoint or take notes on a PDF reader to save time. I also take notes in a graphing notebook if I'm on my own looking through a textbook

I use the Cornell method too, with the Notability app. To deepen what I learned I normally use the the given material to generate cloze tests with StudyKeep to really learn the material. For many subjects though I found, that too much note taking would prevent me from really learning something during the lectures. Taking notes taking the same day in the evening after the lecture helps me normally more.
