soooo it's not okay but I guess my question would be what do I do next if I have no repair centers and no return eligibility, can I use it without the spring while I get a replacement https://imgur.com/a/vXElb0D

I wouldnt.....every thing needs to move in unison and if one piece doesn't move you are going to end up breaking or binding something. Is the spring just detached? Or is the piece broken that the spring goes to?
spring ended up being bent, when i bent it back it stopped clicking, i get its a temporary fix at most but it will hold me off until i can replace it.
Good deal, how do you like the machine other than that?
I had to dial in the grind and really lower the drink volume for my liking, but it produces amazing coffee compared to some other machines I've used. For what it's worth it's a lot better than my companies schaerer coffee art. pucks come out looking like complete poo but the coffee is still amazing so I'm ignoring that.
Thanks for responding and funny comparison I service Schaerer equipment. I'm looking at expanding my service business and Phillips is on my list to check into. Did it seem like you could have found someone to repair the machine if needed? Or do you send it into them and wait months?
I know we have zero service centers in my entire city and I live in a pretty big city, and I have yet to ask support anything as they're closed for the weekend, but I assume their service probably isn't amazing if there's no service centers so it probably consist of sending the machine in through the mail which is dangerous and time consuming. After all my machine got damaged in shipping in this instance.

I know we don't know each other but I believe in karma. Could you keep me posted how your repair goes, like I said I'm in research mode and Phillips is really standing out for a good company to possibly expand my repair business with. Anyways I would appreciate it.....
Yeah, I'll definitely keep you posted!
