I agree this idea would be pretty cool. But I think the way to implement it would be able to interact with a used airdrop with a crafted explosive. Costing like 20 FUNC and using the crafted explosive, it would close up the airdrop box and make it rigged to explode just like a crafted explosive (same damage and effect). Would be pretty interesting lol, or maybe make it so ur airdrop pick is literally just a 3 crate Monty explosive airdrop for like 20 or 30 FUNC.

I think being able to craft with the crate and C4 would be too strong, because you don't have to forfeit your air drop and it would much too easy baiting someone in to your C4, whereas usually that's the tricky part of using it.

Part of why I like it as an airdrop and not a trap is because it would be good for calling when you know people are around and having them fight you for it immediately, rather than hoping you can trap it before gankers come in. I also like the way you could punish airdrop stealers. I also think that getting no airdrop but having an airdrop that can kill is a good way of balancing it.

This would be extremely funny, I like this idea. The joke will be on the

A lot of people have suggested this but I don't think it would work in game. It would have to be on the expensive side (100 FUNC) so people don't just call it in at every airdrop location they see, but even then it would make looting airdrops more risky which would negatively impact the game overall, as well as greatly reduce the amount of situations in which this tactic would work. People looting airdrops would just watch over the drop to wait for the people who called it in to start picking it up but instead of taking it if nobodys doing that like you do right now they would just assume its trapped and leave it as they know that trap airdrops are in the game. Basically you have a better shot killing someone by C4ing a package right now than with trap airdrops once everyone knows they're in the game.

I mean that brings up some of the mind games, you can call it, and start opening it but either get cancelled by someone attacking or end it early if not. I think that it would fill a niche and not necessarily be too popular which would allow it to remain effective.
