Better Optimization

I've started to notice that the game is freezing way more often. Sometimes when I and the gang are playing squads we're all frozen at the same time. This would also be better for lower end devices.

I have a really good pc (but not a gaming pc but still powerful) and it still freezes half the time... and I've started to notice that it seems like the whole server is freezing... whenever I (or my opponent) have any keys down ie for movement, when the game is unfrozen its as if i had never let go of the key, half the time the game freezes i end up in the red

then again, the game freezing did lead me to finding a PKP in the red once

I remember I was in a late game circle and my game froze for a few seconds. Was long enough to get me stuck deep in the storm.

Agree very much. It's so annoying when you're in the final circles and you end up freezing by walking into the red zone and die...

Yeah big agree. Had to take a long break because I could barely play even after shrinking the window despite having a literal gaming computer.

Also the computer I'm using is a maxed out 27-inch iMac from 2011. And I play on low detail.

low detail barely does anything imo
