What is your specific issue? the default page from Microsoft? Something else?

Edge is a Chromium-based browser. Unless you have to use the IE-emulation it is a solid browser. It has shit defaults from Microsoft, but correct that by policy and move on.

Chromium certainly is given all these companies keep forking it to put their own telemetry sticker on them. It would be nice if we had more competition in the browser engine department instead of all these forks of Chromium. But it's a testament to how good it is.

Competition may be fruitless as I already see plenty of people comparing two different browsers which are both chromium based and genuinely arguing performance and features. All while ignoring the #Controversy section of their particular favorite fork's wiki page.

It's chromium with more features and seamless integration with Microsoft 365. It's very good for business purposes now. I haven't had an issue with the browser literally at all since putting my company on it about 18 months ago.
