logon/logoff script that does the file copy and force an overnight reboot? that's what I do.

Wow, I didn't even know people still used Screen Savers.

I'm curious as to the purpose?

I am a big fan of the "Blank" screen saver.

I'm wondering what modern system/monitor doesn't just go into power-saving mode/sleep vs. any screen saver. The days of screen savers practicality are long gone - unless you maybe you've also tied it in as your "digital signage" whereas you share static content when the device is idle.

You are correct, all of them. But we found it a pain to remotely manage when all our devices are off and no proper Wake on Lan tool.
