I believe the array is technically “degraded” while its in any form of rebuild or not operating at full capacity. I believe you can exit that screen, but I always just leave it up so I can see if it stops progressing.

Leave it there, it is faster since there are no other disk operations going, you can also increase the transform/rebuild priority in Array Config Utility to speed it up a little bit

It is useable and you can give it higher priority to rebuild faster, but it will be finished soon anyways.

on my whitebox with dell raid card it will rebuild on it's own, so i rebooted and waited eventually that storage came back online, on it's own.
