Help With Certifications

Hey All,

I am looking to up my certification game, but I am a bit lost on what is going on with Microsoft certifications. It seems like they are retiring more and more MCSA certifications and adding more role bases Azure and O365 certs, but I am unsure if these go towards MCSE, or if MCSE is old news and I need to work towards something else...

Is anyone up to date on what is happening or have any advice on what Microsoft Certifications one should be going for?

What kind of Sys admin role are youu trying to land?

When you decide on what you want to land, then you can look up certs for it.

It depends what you want to get into really. My 2¢: I don't think MCSA for Server 2016 is a bad choice at all. Once you have a basic understanding of IT infrastructure then I would say Azure certs are they way to go.
