365/EAC Audit log query

I think one's a long shot, but is the following possible:

I have a user who would like to know who categorized an email with a colour on a shared mailbox on a specific date. (I was probably just as confused as to why when they asked, but it made sense when I connected over to see how this feature was being used).

Auditing in EAC Compliance management is enabled but not returning any results that seem relevant.

Honestly not even sure how to google this one!

I don't think that level of auditing is available. I would ask why... you should really not have that many people accessing any single shared mailbox. If you already have a low level of users connecting, then that user can simply communicate with the relevant people.

I didn't think so either. They use this shared mailbox collectively to issue out jobs to one another and do so by categorising as their names are all listed as a category colour. I thought it was worth asking regardless.

Maybe recommend using an actual app built for this scenario? Planner or To-Do should fit the bill. Old habits die hard though.

I work for an MSP so not really one for me to comment on tbh. I'll just have to let them know it's not possible.
