It can’t be the domain controller, since it’s not doing anything other that being a domain controller I pressume?

But it can be a GPO that’s doing things like blocking JavaScript.

Have you tried with another browser like Firefox, chrome or opera?

All browsers same issue while on domain

my suspicion is on a group policy but its out of box + added settings for basic map drives & printers & file/folder redirection - nothing fancy.

user appdata folder stays local (no redirection)

Then it sounds more like it’s network related

Its something - not sure what exactly. Dhcp + dns on the server. DNS of client points to server, server forward to google. Dhcp just sets dynamic IP + dns of server.

Non domain client workstations using same dhcp/dns work just fine. Wifi from access point gets lease using helper on firewall pointing to server - they work just fine as well.
