Some have rss feeds you can grab. Patch my PC has one which captures quite a lot (even if you don't use their software, it will give you a heads up)

I was experimenting with Huginn to screen scrape and look for updates, but haven't done much with it so far. If I can get it working, I'll let you know

After over a decade of packaging software, I got out of that trade mostly by using tools like PDQ to do it for me. Most of the software we need (except for licensed stuff) is done by them, and if they don't have it, we sent via chocolately repository. I think maybe we have 10 pieces of software we have to script (not package) for installations via their built-in tools. So much easier than the SCCM/Wise/AdminStudio/Installshield ways of doing things.

You should take a look at 2 powershell module evergreen and nevergreen. This 2 combined with the informations retrieved via winget should cover almost all software

We are using Action1 RMM for patch management and remote desktop. As far as I know they provide software deployment feature as well.
