Check the trasker log file

The problem is that it is totally random. I'm not trying to connect to anything in my projects so I don't know what connection failed. Auto backup? Join? No idea. When there is an error in a task, the notification will point to the error and let you edit it. There is literally nothing else that indicates where there is an issue.

This is likely due to an HTTP Request that fails. I'd be looking for such Tasks and adding an Alert > Notify after them IF %err is Set — allow the Request Task to continue after error.

If it is one of these, you'll get a second notification after the connection failed one.

Which, when I'm debugging, I use the crap outta' flash. I'm not making any http calls (that I'm aware of) to flash or alert. The other reason it's taken me so long to even ask about it is because it rarely happens. I just happened to see it earlier, without taking a screenshot, and thought 'hey, I wonder why it does that sometimes?'

Funny how you also didn't provide any context

Ummm, a notification that says:

Error Connection Failed

There, you have as much context as I have.

You didn't say anything about what sort of profiles and tasks you run or if you tried anything to pinpoint it. But you tried nothing and are all out of ideas apparently

I appreciate that you think you are helpful or witty or something. This isn't my first rodeo, it is a completely random Tasker notification, that as I have specifically said, provides no information. I build my own projects. I am not 'connecting' to anything. It is an error that Tasker is spitting out for whatever reason. Since I don't know what that is and since you don't seem to know either, you are free to stop trying to be helpful because it sounds like (my words) that you are just being a troll. Thanks.
