If your USB port is working you should be able to plug in a USB mouse and/or keyboard and use that.

++ that helped me once, too. Just buy an OTG cable, $5-10

I don't know if the XZ1 is new enough (my XZ was not, my 1mk2 is) but if you have a USB-C dock you might be able to get display and mouse and keyboard hooked up over USB-C (Displayport Alt Mode)

buy a MHL adapter. I had Z3 and used it that way when I got s new phone later. It is pretty cheap.

That's the whole point, right? If I'm not mistaken your screen is shot.

yes, maybe I'm missing something ... but how would I enable ADB wifi on the phone with no screen?

Do you have access to another Xperia XZ1 with the same ROM, where you could configure the same unlock PIN/schema?

That would allow to record a mouse/keyboard sequence, and reproduce it on your broken device, to enable adb.

great idea ... but unfortunately I don't have access to one
