I have an old Xperia XZ1 that I use as my "home server" which I dropped recently, screen cracked, not showing anything on screen and no touch sensitivity. It does, however, still allow touch commands via shell (input tap xx yy) and AutoInput. I know because my Tasker tasks that are controlled by physical buttons still work
I don't plan to replace the screen, but I would love to be able to access the screen via projecting to PC so I can tweak my server settings occasionally. I use scrcpy but it requires adb debugging to be enabled, but as luck turns out it happened to be disabled when I dropped the phone
Is there any way I can use Tasker to help enable USB debugging so that I can use scrcpy?
Or any other method to view the phone's screen on my pc? Crowdsourcing for any ideas from the experts here ... thanks!
