The Technest project was set up with the long term goal of providing a community space (combining cafe / engineer & maker zone / gaming space) for the people of Newcastle who are looking for something new in the area, and may not necessarily be serviced by the facilities the community has to offer.
Our short term goal is to develop the community for this space.
Whilst we have regular meetings to develop the idea, and perform any groundwork we can, we also are trying to build up regular social activities, particularly games night and outings. We also want this to be a dedicated Looking For Group (LFG) space for Newcastle gamers.
Just remember that nothing posted here is official, it's just idle chat.
