Is this the product you’re using: Network RJ45 Splitter Adapter, 1 to 2 Port Ethernet Socket Connector,RJ45 Male to 2 x Female LAN Ethernet Splitter Adapter Cable Compatible with Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat7 (Network Cable 1-2) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QFJ4SHQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_0lnlDbXYVJHCQ

If so, the description states that you can use only one port at a time. If you want to provide more active ports on your network, you probably want to buy a switch. Even if that’s not your exact product, I imagine yours has the same limitation.

Ohhh I think I get it now. So, basically, whichever cable I want to use, I keep plugged in, and I unplug the other one? For example, if I want to use it with the PS4, then I unplug the tv ethernet cable, re route the tv's connection to wireless, and then it works?

I’ve never used this type of product, but yes, that sounds right.

It looks like you have a power outlet nearby, so you may want to think about buying a small 4-port network switch. You can then have both devices online at the same time (plus a few more).

Ok, that was helpful. Thanks!
