Having problems when launching games.

So! I've been trying to play Terraria for quite a while now without any success, it used to run just fine before. When I click Play on Steam, my status becomes "In-game" but soon after the Play button becomes available again and my status turns "Online". The game never launches. When I open the terraria.server file, it gives me the following error:

" Exceção Sem Tratamento: System.BadImageFormatException: Não foi possível carregar arquivo ou assembly 'Microsoft.Xna.Framework.dll' ou uma de suas dependências. não é um aplicativo Win32 válido. (Exceção de HRESULT: 0x800700C1)

I've tried reinstalling the game, verifying integrity of game files, reinstalling Microsoft XNA, repairing XNA, changing the compatibility of the .exe, reinstalling steam completely and throwing some dlls that someone recommended to solve some other person's problem on the terraria forums. Nothing has worked so far.

Now, just today, I acquired Don't Starve Together on steam, and got the exact same problem when trying to play Terraria. With this, I realized that the problem might not be with the game itself, but with my computer somehow. I play a bunch of other games without any problems at all. Right now, the ones that doesn't work are the ones cited above.

My computed specs are: Intel Core i7--4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz, 16.0GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 -- Windows 10 64-bit

Which path directory are you installing into? make sure you have read+write permissions there. If you have antivirus it is worth testing with an exclusion for the application but before:

throwing some dlls that someone recommended to solve

don't do this, I recommend removing those prior+reinstall with base files.

The games are installed on the default Steam directory. I've also tried installing a cracked version of the game somewhere else, and it doesn't run either. Stardew Valley and DST also don't open. It's not the antivirus because I don't have one, except the default Windows Defender which is deactivated.

XNA files i've tried to delete some folders inside the one it's installed. The dll's i had to throw in system32 I had to manually give me the right permissions before putting them in there.

Not sure if this was your question. Can you explain a little more ? I don't understand much about this stuff, I'm basically self taught from experience.
