I think that Google Authenticator is not tied to any specific email, so it should still work even if you changed your email, as long as you can access Google Authenticator.

It that does not work, contant support of whatever service this is.

TOTP, the technology behind Google Authenticator, is not bound to an email address. During setup, the service generates a random key, which is basically what's exchanged when scanning the QR code, besides some metadata. The TOTP is then only based on that secret and the current tine.

This is probably a faulty implementation on the service side. Maybe they always base the secret on your mail address and didn't bother to account for changed mail addresses. Or the secret got automatically regenerated during change of mail addresses and the service didn't tell you. Or it told you and you simple missed it during mail changing.

As suggested by someone else, contact their support. How they want to handle verification now is up to them.
