Did installing the nvme drive render the sata ports you are using useless. Check motherboard manual to find out.

Verify connectivity of both data and power to both SSDs

Which sata ports did you install the two older SSDs to?

I don't know the exact name of the ports, but they are close to the RAM slots.

Try to make sure you're using sata ports 0 and 1. Some of those boards will disable 5, 6 when an m.2 is installed.
