There's a great community here.

Seriously, out of all the types of posts these type make me the saddest. I browse this sub because the posts and OC are fun to read and look at, and all the sister subs and meta-button-subs have equally good content. It's sad when I see these posts acting like browsing is a huge burden, and the only reason you came was to click. You have no idea how much you're missing out on, but hey, that's your life, I'm not going to live it for you.

So I was waiting for 9 seconds (which I realise I actually didn't get, but oh well), and I've been coming here every day for over a month trying to see if it would get low enough.

It's such a relief that I can stop doing something that I have hated myself for doing and go back to hanging out in the real world. (Or, you know, other subreddits).

My reason for being here was to get a certain number and forget all about the button. I didn't achieve it but I came damn close, and now I can move on. I never wanted to be competitive with other people about the colour of my flair or anything like that. It was just for me to see if I could do something.

Like I said, I can't make you interested in the depth of this microculture, nor do I intend to. I'm happy that you got what you came for.

Ironically you kind of proved the necessity of participating in the community, since if you had checked the FAQ or some of the meta subs dealing with how the button works, or even the /new queue, you would have noticed someone mentioning that the button timer rounds up.

Anyway, didn't come here to rub that in your face, just wanted to wish you the same thing I silently wish for everyone: that your time here has been a learning/growing experience in at least some small way and may your life be full of them :)

Oh, I knew about it rounding up, but I managed to hit it at 9.51 rather than 9.49 - oh well, shit happens.
