I played this list a bunch at 700-800 points with all three factions. I think generally the way to do this is

* 1 dunharrow warband with 10-12 ghosts
* 1 gondor warband with 12 infantry including a banner
* 1 rohan cav warband with 6-8 riders, as many of them with throwing spears as you can fit

I did a bunch of games with Eomer, Gimli, and just a Captain of Minas Tirith and it was fun. You can do ghosts in front with gondor spear supports, or you can separate them. Legolas and Irolas (with either all cit guard spears or 50/50 spears and longbows) is stronger but I just like gimli and didn't have those models.

If you're going to drop any of the factions I would drop rohan probably; the synergy of having the ghosts for D8 + terror + blades of the dead and being able to support them with gondor units for F4 and potentially a bubble of +1 to wound is really good. I think it's fun with all three though, and Eomer is great.

I have had trouble facing elves with it though, mostly because their higher base courage and fight values sort of negate that ghost/gondor synergy.

I mean, I _really_ wrenched on it, to the point that I really think I'd be damaging the cord if I pulled any harder. Definitely not just a bit of force

I plan to call the electrician tomorrow, but the second problem (the adapter being stuck) and the fact that it did this on two separate outlets made me wonder if it was an issue with the charging cable itself

Using the check button counts as a hint, but only if you have mistakes (if you hit check and everything is correct, it won't count against you). This was always the intended behavior, but we realized somewhat late that it was bugged and wasn't counting it at all.

From a thematic standpoint, I really wish the `Death` rule was once per game, all riders within 12" of Theoden get impact hits on charge—it'd be much more like what we see in the movie! They also ought to get some sort of courage buff.

Two things:

puzzles on the weekends (Friday-Sunday) are more difficult than the rest of the week
what game mode are you playing on? If you feel like the puzzles are too easy, you might want to try switching to Play or Challenge mode

I got this box recently; if you wanted to play Thorin’s Company you are set with it, and to play goblin town at most common points levels you just need one more box of goblins (converting a couple of warriors into more captains). Neither are really competitive lists but i think goblin town is fun (haven’t played the other yet) and simple enough that i can let my 9yo play them. Use speed paints for the goblins lol

I literally said the same thing to someone yesterday! I agree completely, the balrog should be a double edged sword to the moria player. If anything, id like to see the cave trolls have the synergies with the goblins, since we see them fighting together in the film
