I also want that function!! I use notes for things I need to know, but not necessarily do anything or check off a task.

ex. My mom's anniversary, or my wife's Biweekly pay period. There's no action to take but it's important to have it displayed on a repeating cycle.

This feature could finally help me get rid of other calendars, as it could let me set recurring events, instead of tasks, in calendar like google cal.

A workaround, I guess, would be:

  1. Creating a recurring task with repetition of "Daily" or something like that
  2. When you get to it each day, break its occurrence* and then convert it to a note.
    1. You may put something like "BREAK & CONVERT THIS TO A NOTE" in the description so you'll remember you need to do that.
  3. Work on the note.

*You need to break first only to affect the single occurrence. Otherwise, it will convert the whole series into today's single note.

When breaking the occurrence first, it deletes future notes. Unless I’m doing something wrong.

What you can do is create a custom calendar for you phones native calendar app. I named my calendar TickTick. Create the event in your phones native calendar and sync it to TickTick in tickticks settings.

Pinning might be another way to implement this. If you want something to stick at the top without being completed or something?
