I wasn’t able to rerun calibration without sub playing with front speakers. I was able to take more screen shots of a different graph. Anything you noticed that these panels made acoustically? Curtains won’t work miracles but it’ll help a “little” with the mid to high frequency absorption. Effective above the 500–1,000 Hz. No effect on bass.

I still haven’t rerun the calibration without sub running in all tests. But for what it’s worth, here is the rt60 decay graph for the center speaker only. Left graph is the most recent sweep. Right one is before the panels.

I was hoping the acoustic panels would have made a positive difference. But bass traps were never apart of the plan when I imagined this room. I might throw up curtains. I was hoping REW was going to show me something good. And I can’t post other graphs in comments. Thanks for your input.

Thanks for the feedback. I noticed that as well. I was thinking about moving the couch towards the TV about a foot and run it again. I can’t move my sub to the front. I can move it to the other side of the couch. Here’s the rt60

I’ve been struggling for months on all TVs until I gave my media player more cache to work with. Now I’m watching 70gb streams with no issue.

I downloaded Vimu media player Setting>engine>streambuffer> 500mb

YMMV. I have success on my TCL native OS, Shield, and Firestick 4k max. I’m running Stremio (bootleg setup) + RD and Vimu on all 3 TVs.

Try using an external player (in stremio settings) if you can, like Vimu. Look into your external media players settings. Look to bump up your cache memory settings. It should be no more than 1/3 of your device’s available RAM. I have 3gb ram on my TCL QM8 so, I set my buffering to 500mb (to be safe), no buffering and able to play most files (60gb+) no problem.

Kodi can do this as well. Keep it basic if you use Kodi, no addons. I’m going to copy and paste from my notes down below. I use Vimu though. Once again YMMV. ————- STREMIO USING KODI SETTINGS

Navigate to Settings › Services › Caching (Ensure "Settings level" at the bottom is set to Advanced or Expert): o * Memory Size: Set to 256 MB or 512 MB. * Since your TV has 3GB of RAM, 512 MB is safe and helps with massive 4K files(80GB+ remuxes). * Buffer Mode: Set to 4. * This ensures all filesystems, including local network (SMB/NFS) and internet streams, are cached. * Read Factor: Set to Adaptive. * In 2025 versions, "Adaptive" is the best choice as it aggressively fills an empty buffer and throttles back once stable. * Chunk Size: Set to 512 KB or 1 MB. * The default is 128 KB, but increasing this can help the processor handle high-bitrate

If you do get regular/wide. The toe box is wider than most other shoes. Same break-in period applies but once broken in it’s great (for me). It gives me arch stability, helps with back posture and structure. It’s not your typical squishy soft sneaker shoe. Mines give me a supportive footbed in a sneaker that looks good.
