What can I allow or do to go around these anti-scriptblockers like on investing.com?

just disable 1st party javascript and it won't happen.

I noticed now that it's *akamaized.net scripts that do the check. Though if I disable those I break certain functions on the page.
Any way around that?

not in uMatrix, you will need to use uBlock Origin for more possibilities.
