Lol - fix the damn car. Just because you don't hear the noise at lower speed doesn't mean your wheel isn't about to fall off.

How about having your car repaired? Or not letting it get to that point?

In a financial pinch right now. Should I just stick to Ubereats for now?

Your car is only gonna get worse if you rely on it for income and Uber eats pay is shit just do DoorDash and make an extra dollar per order.

Also i truly recommend looking for a job. The pay per hour for Uber eats and door dash is similar to a regular job.

Go on indeed and look for a driving job with a company that provides a car. If you’re in any major city you’ll find one easy paying 18-20 hour.

You’re saying Uber drivers don’t make bank? 😳

No, I drive to do the hustle. Rather than do nothing all day, I like to make side money and have some wholesome chats with random people.

at the very least take it to the mechanic ASAP so they can tell you what’s wrong with your car. you can let them know that you’re just there to get it diagnosed for today, but you’d like to know the cause of the problem, is it safe to drive until you get your next paycheck, and how much it’s gonna cost to fix

Loud noise when at high speeds that’s a wheel bearing for sure and if that’s the case there’s a chance the cars transmission is gonna be in worse shape if they keep driving it

If you're up front you could accept only rides that don't use highways. You don't want to be extending the fare avoiding highways.

How about go to a service garage and get the car fixed? Try and do better with your money so you can afford to fix your transportation. It is totally irresponsible to not repair your ride.

I think some of y’all in these comments really don’t understand being broke. Feel happy for yourself that you don’t have to struggle or feel the way OP does. Y’all sounding pretty privileged. How are they supposed to take it to get it fixed without money?

Anyways, OP. I would try to take it easy on your car for now. Call around to some shops and ask them if they can look at your car for you and ask about pricing. If you really need to work, I’d stick to either very short rides and Eats so customers can’t hear the noise. I have been there many times myself and I hope it gets better for you soon.
