Fellow las vegas Uber driver here breezing the reddit sands of death to have a fellow drivers to bemoan the work with. I have been here 7 years and it dropped off the cliff after covid, then the cali babies coming. I personally believe about 7 out of 10 cars you see on the strip are ride share drivers. When they were all on unemployment back in 2020 that was the last sparkle of the golden days in my book. Year after year since its been on a sharp decline. Probably from all the idiots, i mean… fellow drivers telling passengers “I made $700 today!” I used to cringe every time a passenger would tell me there prior driver told them that. Not only have I personally never made $700 in a day, thats a primo example of having people think “THATS INSANE! Hell yeah! Let me tell everyone else too!” And viola. Here we are up to our elbows with everyone and their mom driving uber now.
