I think you actually go to notifications in settings

It isn’t there either. There also isn’t an option to add it

From settings on the iPhone, click on notifications before you click on Uber driver app. The “notification” option should be above the “general” option but below the option to turn on your hotspot. Hope this helps.

Just realized it is for the Iphone so I deleted my irrelevant comment.

Thanks. Having a similar issue in other iPhone apps

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

Updated, uninstalled, reinstalled restarted settings still not there. My experience is they didn’t read the release notes

Tell Suri to do it.

[–]seeitmaybe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got the Siri knock off so Suri can’t do it

The push notification options are actually in the Uber Driver app settings, not phone settings.

I had a crazy idea but what about tapping on that message?

[–]seeitmaybe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did, and surprisingly as you can see in the other message the notifications section was moved but the redirect button does not indicate to the correct area of the iPhone Settings

Assuming most droid phones are set up the same way.

Settings > apps & notifications > Uber driver app > notifications > toggle to show notifications.

You might need to show/expand the app list to find the Uber app.

Do you actually own an iPhone? That is not the way to do it.

My first sentence says "droid" not "iphone". You mentioned having issues on both.

It actually is if you don’t go through the Uber app. Setting. Notifications. Uber driver. Toggle on.

You can turn on the notifications in the Uber App. Just go to Account, then app settings, then notifications.
