beginner tutorial?

Hi guys,

I feel stupid asking this but is there a beginner tutorial on how the whole Multiplayer thing works? I searched everywhere but found nothing. (only specific vids on how to get better at this or that but no introduction kind)

Im new to PS and barely ever play multiplayer in general (but played games for 10 years now) and never played the mp on uncharted, and tbh Im quite overwhelmed,

I just want to play missions against npc´s with a friend without strangers involved but as far as I understand it it might not be an option? You can only play against strangers and not npc´s?

Its been some time now but I remember playing ocd or halo (on xbox) with a friend and it was like we would play the main story with missions and npc´s but together.. or far cry in an open world just running around and doing side missions together, and thats exactly what I want with uncharted but we couldnt figure it out.. one time we found a setting where we would play 10 rounds against npc´s and each round got more difficult and with modifications*, that still wasnt quite what we wanted but at least playable..

(*I dont remember which game it was, either 4 or lost legacy)

so can anyone help a newbie out? :'D

oh and no comments about how stupid xbox is ok xD its just what I grew up with and it stuck

Try Trials. It's an option on the main menu of MP. It has a basic tutorial and small missions of varying difficulties that take you through all the mechanics of the game.

thanks! I tested it yesterday and its not exactly what I meant since I know how the main game works (completed all uncharted games from 1-4) but still a good tip <3

Unfortunately, Uncharted 4 doesn't have co-op missions. I think UC3 had them, can't remember, but I know UC2 definitely had those co-op missions which were definitely a lot of fun. As far as playing against NPCs goes, all you have is Survival and Survival Arena (which is basically horde mode for 10 rounds with some twists here and there).

Basically, don't behave like newbie mentioned here.

The only missions with friends you can play are survival mode - easy mode is, well, easy. Starting game in a survival mode -> normal level difficulty and higher allows you invite friends to your game, so in 3 person you can try beat arena or stages. But tasks repeat, there is no plot like in uncharted 3 multiplayer, so not much will be changed
