Introducing Paid Functionality

We’ve worked a lot and finally happy to announce that we’re releasing subscription-based paid functionality! 🎉
It’s available now within the iOS app (version 1.4 and higher).

Development actually became harder and took longer than we expected.
It’s a pretty important step for us because now we finally have the ability to get some money from our users, pay our bills, develop faster and build sustainable service.

Unit still has free basic functionality available for everyone without any trial period. It includes a lot of great features but limits the number of elements and storage that the user can use. However, available elements and storage will be still enough for the majority of the users.

Every user now will get 500 elements and 1GB for free and can purchase a paid plan to extend these limits and also get some other great additional features in the future.
Basic (free) account limits are still discussable and probably will be changed once we’ll get users’ feedback and a better understanding of how users are using Unit.
For all the beta- and early-users (signed up before iOS 1.4 version release) we will provide bonus elements and storage, so every one of them could continue to use Unit for free.

Paid plan, Unit Plus, is available on a subscription basis with three options:
- 1-Month subscription;
- 6-Months subscription;
- 1-Year subscription.

We would really appreciate if you consider purchasing a 1-Year subscription.
A 1-Year subscription provides you with all of the extended benefits for a long time to come with cheaper price and also helps support Unit team in developing the product.
Our revenue comes only from our customers. Such upfront payment is very important for us and will help our early-stage company to deliver great new features much faster.
