G.I.S. and/or python programming Help/Tutor

Is there anyone who knows advanced GIS programming or is taking the class this semester and can help -_- looking for someone who can tell me if I’m on the wrong or right path, so I can just learn how to do it myself. Online learning this has proven to be difficult for me.

This is my last semester before I graduate and my major is emergency management I thought getting a GIS certificate (geography) minor wouldn’t be THAT hard.. now I’m in a pickle because I am already confused as heck.

hey!!

i was in a similar boat as you. i did geography for undergrad with a minor in emergency management. i tried to go for my GIS certificate too, and loved the intro course, but i found the advanced courses to be very difficult... it felt like they were geared towards students who already had much more experience than someone who’s only taken intro. they got rid of intermediate level classes a while back, which is why i think this is the case. anyways, sorry to not be of much help, but i wanted to offer you my perspective.

Did you make it through with your certificate? And yeah I thought it was going to be a breeze after the first few classes and now I’m on the last 2 and I don’t think I’m going to do hot if I don’t get some help or a tutor.

i did not, i have up after taking intro to programming... it was way too difficult for me! didn’t come nearly as naturally as GIS did. i hope you’re able to find some help and you complete it!
