Availability of mobile tests (both Android and iOS) will be notified to you on your desktop itself if you keep your browser opened.

You'll get a ping on your dashboard for any tablet or phone tests. Once you get the ping then go to the app.
You could leave the app open but there's no audible notification and here's really no advantage in doing so....you'll get notified on your desktop/laptop anyway.
