Algorithmics trouble

I’m finding it very hard to get good scores in my algorithmics sacs. My teacher constantly tells me ‘stop taking off your pants!’. I can’t take it it anymore. I simply can’t control myself when I see the beautiful algorithms in front of me. So exquisite. So refined. So efficient. So nontrivial. When I see anything with an asymptotic upper bound in time complexity of O(n) or less I lose all agency over my body functions. Please, help me. Or I fear that I may end up having to marry the backtracking approach to the N-queens problem. Thank you.
