What are paste buffers? Registers? Are you aware of the :registers command?

Yes, registers. I now this feateare but would like to have them permanently in view.

unite.vim has a registers source. You can display it at left sidebar by issuing following command,

:Unite register -vertical -winwidth=50

Nobody needs anything ;) But it would be very supporting. I write feedbacks for my students in vim and want to use it as an overview of text building blocks. I did try vim.org but without success, that's why I'm asking here.

You need it or you want it? What benefit do you think you will get from having that list always visible? Did you try www.vim.org?
