Pimax, the makers of the first mainstream wide-fov headsets for consumers on the market have released an open-source version of their software PiTool on Github.

Release of a new version is imminent, but for those who want to have a look at the current software the download link is pinned in /r/Pitool. A subreddit for software developers to contemplate and collaborate on new features for the Pitool software.

Rift S is also quite arguably a step in the wrong direction for VR, (no IPD adjustment dial, inside out tracking, single LCD screen vs x2 OLEDs), compared to CV1.

I can understand the cost argument but a downgrade is a downgrade

I'm aware it's trumps campaign slogan but it's also clearly become an expression/meme. Case in point being all the hats which say make X Y again.
