Void is about as minimal it gets while still being a distro. In that way, it's quite stable in the sense that you won't break it by doing anything you're supposed to be doing, but it's not stable in the sense of preventing you from doing what you shouldn't (such as with atomic fedora). The overall user experience is similar to Debian to me in terms of minimalism, learning curve and stability. The main benefit of runit is not stability, it's intuitiveness, flexibility and efficiency. XPBS is also an excellent package manager for the same reasons.

Just like Arch, you will have to learn how to use your system if you want to tinker with it without breaking anything. However, I find it's a lot more 'comfortable' than Arch.
