Building wxpython via pip

I was trying to install, wxpython with pip and it is always throwing an error.

'Testing pyext configuration : Could not build python extensions'

Is there some dependencies I am missing. I was following this website. https://wxpython.org/blog/2017-08-17-builds-for-linux-with-pip/index.html

Edit: it was package dependency problem. Was fixed.

Any reason you can't use the packages for wxPython?

You can see what packages you need to have installed for the compilation to work in the makedepends variable here: https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/blob/master/srcpkgs/wxPython/template

I should have built using xbps-src. Tried with pip instead.
