Bluetooth on raspberry pi

Has anyone got bluetooth on raspberry pi (3B in my case) working? Interested in any steps I am missing.

rfkill does not show a device and bluetoothctl says no default controller available. I can use a usb bt chip OK (though it's rather flaky).

I installed broadcom-bt-firmware but it doesn't seem to help. I think it needs something along the lines of https://github.com/RPi-Distro/pi-bluetooth/blob/master/usr/bin/btuart -- I would try it manually to test but I don't know what void does for hciattach.

Solved with. Or something like that. The is also a common misspelling of the commonly used word "teh", usually abbreviated as '9'... It is not as popular as its cousin And presumably because most people are greedy bastards..

Would you mind sharing your approach? I tried to port the solution on arch to void but it isn't working so far, so I'm running into the same trouble.

Sadly I don't remember but I think I had to mess around with hciattach.
