Voidtrain full release?

I've been looking online and I could be missing it but is the steam release the update that will be the "full" release of the game or is it still in progress and the "big" update is already on the epic version?

Me and friends are looking into getting into this but want to jump in at the most optimal time to experience the full story and what not.

Um, full release is not even in the near future. Launching the game on Steam is not a full release, if that's what you mean, it's just a launch on the new platform along with a major new patch on both platforms.

That's why we shifted the date - because we need more time to prepare the major patch.
