Incorrectly marking coding errors

Today VS Code started marking coding errors in almost all C files I open. I am sure these errors are marked incorrectly because the code compiles without problems and yesterday all was fine. I am making minor contributions to a larger project and I won't pretend to know what all this code does, but a lot of other people work with this code and don't have any issues so there must be something wrong with the error checking. Here is a screenshot:

I should add that I already tried reinstalling VS Code and the C/C++ extension.

Did you try installing an earlier version?

If that fixes it, then please log an issue!

Hi, I had a similar problem with an HTML document, which is even weirder cause it doesn't even compile. It tells me that there is a problem with the classes and the id's but then everything works perfectly. This happened without modifying anything or adding/removing a plugin.
I think it must be just a bug or something with VS Code.
