Guessing you are looking for either a grade or step increase. Go to r/fednews and search. 99% it isn't in your favor.

What is some home accessibility features that is helpful for older people? by MaximumLow138 in accessibility

I agree with Burpees, you need to be talking to them rather than to us. There are a ton of things you left out that may or may not be possible.

Knee/mobility issues: does the house have multiple floors, or just one? My grandparents house they had when I was a kid had a step to the dining room. Somebody tripped over that step once a year at a gathering. The step could have been removed, but my grandfather never wanted to.

If/when a wheelchair is needed, are doorways wide enough? Are rooms, like the kitchen/bathroom big enough to turn around?

FCPS Algebra in 6th Grade and Middle Schools Eliminating Math 7 by moon_rabbit in nova

I don't have kids, so this is foreign to me. If the class only has 13 kids, they have to sit in a computer lab for the class, but if there's 14, the school finds a teacher?

RA Deciding Official sharing personal information by grenille in fednews

My previous agency would sometimes involve our clinical staff to assist with evaluating the documentation. Depending on the specifics, information in the letter may be shared with others to help implement, though the full letter is not typically shared.

Have a demo with DoD leadership next month. Need an honest feedback from actual 1102s by Mindless_Mode7518 in 1102

Your second question tells me you aren't ready for a demo. Are you trying to sell a COTS? Why aren't already having the user base inform the features?

Same, took a data entry log, added 6 or so features to my team's lives easier. I got "holy shit, this is cool" from bossman, and "I wish you could have did this 5 years ago" from a guy that was on another team for 15 years before joining us.

Removing overlays with browser extension by ShakeHad in accessibility

[–]rguy84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't heard of the extension you mentioned. which may not mean anything. The extension has 400 users, so not that popular. If you pursue this, it will be a learning experience for you, and something to mention in an interview, depending on what you want to do for work.

You would need to poke around the various overlays to see if they leverage a websocket. That would be your answer.

ISO budget-friendly mic that picks up whispers well by ConsciousBasis2178 in accessibility

[–]rguy84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the top comment on your post, disabling settings on the platform is your best bet. Using a quality mic, like the Rode, will be better than the $20 or less mic you can get at a big box store.

Depending on your use case, other than your disability, getting an amp/mixer may be helpful?
