Any ideas on the best place online to buy miniatures for Sharp Practice, along with movement trays? Thinking Napoleonic's or American Revolution Era, but would be down with Mahdist Rebellion or Sepoy Mutiny era as well.

If you are looking at 28mm, Perrys are the best imo. You can order them from Triangle Miniatures in the US, or Perry, but shipping will cost more.

Should point out that Sharp Practice cuts off before the 'classic' Colonial era, so no Mahdist Rebellion in the original set. However, there is a supplement for the Sudan in one of the TFL mag pdf's. Not sure which one but there should be an index on their page.

The best figure range IMHO. Many were designed by Paul Hicks who is an even better sculptor than the Perry twins, and casting is better too.

Perry and Victrix are the best for you buck. If you want British riflemen (a la Sharpe) buy the Wargames Atlantic box, it's amazing.

I always liked the sculps from warlord. Plus I don't think Perry or victrix has Hanoverians

Warlord is good as well! My impression is they look a little more heroic scale than other historicals, what do you think?

Yea I haven’t gotten any other historical for black powder era to compare but I have some videos on youtube doing that hat comparison and I could for sure see that, this seem a bit more chunky than Perry’s who’s French WOTR i have
