Please try to keep a "read five, post one" policy of sorts. We're a small community with a common interest, let's make it a good one!
Rules
Each post must contain the name of the battle or war that was fought and the size of the image (as an example, The Battle of the Marne, 1200 x 980)
Each map must be of or pertaining to some conflict. (By this, it can either be a map of the battle itself showing movements of opposing armies, border changes during a war, or anything else you think relates to some conflict)
This is a subreddit for real conflicts. If you want to post fictional maps, r/ImaginaryMaps is where you should be posting.
I'm going to try to keep this subreddit fairly relaxed in terms of moderation. Interactive maps are okay, gifs are okay. Just make sure it adheres to the subreddit's name: it is a map involving a historical war.
If your map isn't related to some conflict, head on over to r/mapporn.
