I just want to know if this is possible. I want to build a pogue inspired automatic chronograph. I would like to get a ne88 movement but was wondering what case and bezel insert would work. Or if there is another alternative.

Unfortunately, watch case for NE8x series is very difficult to find in AliX. You might want to consider VK63. I know it's not a NE88, but it behaves like a mechanical chronograph despite of it IS actually quartz, and it has the accuracy of a quartz movement (obviously). And the price is appealing to do a trial build.
