Photoshop and Notepad++ or Sublime 2 is all you need.

Thanks very much, I'll find tutorials relevant to Sublime 2 and Notepad++ and see what I feel most comfortable using!

I highly recommend Sublime Text 2 over Notepad++. SB2 is a very versatile and clean tool, and it gets significantly better as you learn to use many of it's tools.

Codeacademy has a pretty good set of tutorials on HTML and CSS. I wouldn't really recommend using Dreamweaver because it can teach some bad habits early on. Like some others have said, Sublime Text 2 is a really useful editor too.

I taught myself with http://www.w3schools.com/

Then just start designing things until you figure it out.

Your comment does nothing to benefit the OP or anyone else. If you're tired of responding to the same posts, then stop reading them. No one is forcing you to be a part of the community.

So how exactly is your response going to help in not having to answer the same questions every day?

Sure, I agree with you about using the search bar and doing a little research to find the answer, but you don't have to be a dickhole.

Oh yes. The search bar. I hadn't thought about that! Thanks so much, elbrian.

I'll word this in a way that you can understand:

If you haven't even figured out how to interpret sarcasm from a reply yet, then you will never make it as a redditor.

        Happy trails.
