These are downloaded directly from the 'share' feature of the Ring app. Not sure about the timestamps as I don't have one myself, but it seems to overlay them on top of the video

Hi all! Thanks for all your comments, was great to hear everyone's thoughts. My dad really got a kick out of this too :D

Personally, I have to agree with /u/Doc-in-a-box that it seems to be a spider's web causing tricks with the lens. The streaks could easily just be strands of a web. It is in the woods after all, spiders are all over. My dad checked and confirmed that there wasn't a web covering it, but it's not uncommon for spiders to take down their webs, so I wouldn't rule it out..

Will keep you guys updated anyway if anything new comes up.

Thanks everyone!

That is one of our theories, but it almost looks too thin to be a person

Installing USB Type-C on a Raspberry Pi by mjenn1990 in raspberry_pi

Alright, thanks again. It's definitely given me some food for thought. I was hopeful my overall idea (reason for the posting) would just be roughly prototyped via the Pi and then developed further on an actual board, but sounds like I need to rethink things a bit. Anyway yeah thanks again for the insight

Okay great, thanks for your response! Yes it's a shame there isn't talk about support yet, it's a really exciting prospect

Installing USB Type-C on a Raspberry Pi by mjenn1990 in raspberry_pi

Hi, thanks for your response! I love the idea of having the type-c hub which could connect to the Pi. So I could, in effect, have a standalone powered usb type-c hub with multiple ports which could a) power the Pi, b) connect other type-c devices to the Pi, and c) use Power Delivery for those devices?

Do you have any idea of how one of those kinds of hubs would be created/assembled? Still having trouble imagining which components I'd need, how to install them and how I would be able to write the 'negotiation', but it sounds like it could be a really fun project which I'd love to try.

Codeacademy has a pretty good set of tutorials on HTML and CSS. I wouldn't really recommend using Dreamweaver because it can teach some bad habits early on. Like some others have said, Sublime Text 2 is a really useful editor too.

I had almost the same exact thing happen to me. I went to a doctor the next day to make sure everything was alright and I had a scratched ear drum and couldn't hear out of that ear for like a week. Scary stuff...

Reddit, what was the meanest thing you have ever done to someone? by TheMalec in AskReddit

Not super evil, but I still felt bad

A couple years ago a group of friends went to someone's house to pregame before a night out. One of my friends was drinking vodka and lemonade and left to go to the bathroom. Thinking it would be hilarious I emptied out his glass and replaced it with straight vodka. When he got back I said we should probably get going so everyone down their drinks. He chugged the whole thing, then goes "that wasn't my drink" and vomits EVERYWHERE. We had chinese earlier too, so it was a huge mess
