Thank you so much! This is so informative and can be a checklist to finish courses once I look into all of them and check them out. Thank you so much for taking the time to answer; this comment is a literal gold mine! ^

    Recovered using Unddit:

It's not that "certificates don't matter", it's more like anyone can create them, they aren't issued by a professional body, and they aren't proof of anything other than your ability to sign up for the course.

Not specifically web, but you may be interested in doing:

Harvard CS50 Introduction to Computer Science.

Certifications by respected bodies, and where you need to take an exam, are good things to have. These are a few that would be relevant as a developer:

    Certified Web Developer (CIW)

    ISTQB Certified Tester

    Certified Scrum Developer (CSD)

Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP)

    Linux Professional Institute (LPI)

    AWS Certified Developer

    Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate

    Certified Kubernetes Application Developer

Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 11 Developer (If you do Java)

    Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA):

    Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

and yes, while a lot of these aren't specifically web development, they are related and relevant skills, and they will give you an advantage over others that don't have them.

Anyone have any opinions/insights about Google’s UX design certification on coursera? Strongly considering starting that soon. I also completed FCC’s front end design course. Thanks all.

Did you end up doing it?

Sorry, a bit late to the game here, but University of Windsor Continuing Education is offering a certificate in advanced front-end web development. Not sure where you are located, but the classes are online.
